Correction: Fishrap Live! is NOT a student media funded publication. This is statement by Erin Schmalfeld, the Editor-in-Chief of the paper. “Although The Fish Rap Live! is supported by Student Media in that we use their facilities and have access to advising, the money required to create Fish Rap comes from staff donations, advertising, and student presentations made to college senates. All of this funding comes from or is sought by UCSC students on staff, not the UCSC community at large. While we are thankful for the support we receive from Student Media, the statement that The Fish Rap Live! is supported by student registration fees is false.”
